Odisha juggernaut rolled on in Elite Group-C of the BCCI U-19 Women One-day League as the Indrani Chhatria-led team prevailed over Tripura by four wickets to notch up their sixth win in a row at Goa Cricket Association Academy, Porvorim today.
Sonali Hembram, Rani Kumari Prasad and Kalpana Nayak picked up two wickets each to help Odisha restrict Tripura to 150 for nine after the latter chose to bat first. In reply, Odisha romped home in 46.2 overs, losing six wickets in the process.
Among Odisha batsmen, wicketkeeper Rasmita Chinhara became top scorer with 41, while Sweet Beura and Poonam Nayak contributed unbeaten 39 and 26 respectively. Odisha will play their seventh and last league match against hosts Goa on February 26.
